Great day, but also a bad day...

We had lots of orientation programs again today.

Waking up at 7, I had a breakfast with a friend around 7:30 then went to an orientation program for international students.

I made some new friends there, who were all very nice people from all over the world, such as Norway, Denmark, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Korea, China, Switzerland, Cyprus, India, Pakistan, Sudan, Zambia, and so on. Meeting people from this many kinds of countries for a day? That's really fantastic

And then we had an induction ceremony, in japanese it would be 入学式. I was really happy to be there.

And in the evening we had a program to go walk down to downtown, and ride on a ferry and do a little bit of ocean cruise with supper. I really enjoyed the harbor view, although little shocked to hear from someone that the water within the harbor are is polluted with a sewage. They already stopped doing that a few years ago, but still the water quality is not really good. Well, it looked okay, but well, we didn't see any fish in the water, so maybe....

After coming back to the residence, I went to the gym to play volleyball with my residence friends. It was really a fun time, but time goes reeeally quickly. When I got back to my room, already it was 10:30.

Oh, the bad thing is.... I might have left my camera somewhere, since I cannot find it anywhere in my room.... oh, geez............. really hoping to be able to find it tmro.
