Sometime funny, sometime in trouble, and always a strong-bonded Irish family moving to America. They didn't have much money, so the father worked as a taxi driver for late-night shifts, even though his real motivated-carrier was acting in a play.

This family had one tragic history. A lost sun from brain tumor. They try not to talk about him, but two daughters mutter once in a while when they are in a sad situation.

There was one neighbor living in the same "historical" old apartment, who also had some serious illness. He was a black artist,living in a room filled with full of skecthes. First the Irish family is scared of him, but gradually two daughters get along with him.

And at the end......

Great heart-touching movie, two sisters were so cute! What a nice family I thought....
