CASTLE IN THE SKY

Happy New Year!!!!

I had totally forgotten to write something on this blog on the 1st. I had a great start this year. I had a New Year's Eve party at Canadian friend's house. It was so much fun!!!!

I think it was the first time i REALLY felt i got drunk lol I am pretty sure that i have high alcohol tolerance. I think sometimes having alcohol is very good for opening my mind to some strangers. Well, To be very honest, i am shy person!!! I like drinking at the party, but i hate the people who force some one to drink even he or she doesn't want to!!

We counted down for the 2007. It was so exciting!!! And then , when 2007 came , we all shouted , hugged each other , ahhhh!! lol I really liked them , hopefully I join those parties again soon.

Ok, today is the 2nd. I just went shopping, and got a lump, and some foods. My friend from Equador was supposed to come over to my place and sleep over , but he never showed up and didn't answer to my call..... even still not yet. so I got kind of depressed( lol), and cooked some omlets and cabbage salad for myself. It was really good..... One of my resolutions is

Memorize(?) at least 100 cooking recipes this year!!! I seriously like cooking. And I cannot live without vegetables, more than meet and fish!!! lol BUt I would never try to be vegetarian, that's totally different issue in here. lol

And then, I watched the movie called Castle In The Sky

I borrowed this from one of my Canadian friends. He owns 3 or 4 of Hayao Miyazaki's movies. And i watched this one tonight.

Guess what..... The last time I watched this was probably.... when I was an elementary school student. I had remembered stories barely, but not clear. So I watched it again in English.

I was reeeally moved. I didn't know that this movie has a lot of messages for us, humans. about warning from the Earth. I should let all my friends watch this !!! lol

Anyways, I gotta go to bed , and tomorrow I head off to my host family's house again and stay over night, then go to Calgary by plane again!!! OHHHH, I'm so excited!!!!

P.S. I really miss Japanese おせち料理.... i should try to make お雑煮 tomorrow!!
